However, the Variegated &#8216;Halo&#8217; we have here is a newer discovery and is still rare in the plant trade. The difference between Halo and the classic Micans is significant. The leaves are skinny with a velvety deep green iridescence with white halo streaks along the leaf edge(s) or sometimes along the center midrib, and a deep purple-rust color on the back side . The leaves are alternately spaced along thin, long trailing vines but &#8216;Halo&#8217; Philodendron\u00a0does not grow as fast as other vines.<\/p>\n<p>Easy to grow, a prolific grower, producing long cascading vines that can hit the floor in no time.\u00a0 A perfect plant for hanging baskets or trained up a trellis.
