The distinct two-tone look allows it to mix with almost any color in a garden border or inside in a vase.<\/p>\n<p>Plants stay compact, growing to only -18&#8243; tall. Easy to grow, quick to mature. Tolerates poor soil and appreciates filtered shade. Will flower all summer long; for the best blooms, do not over-water. Will reseed itself.<\/p>\n<p>Direct-sow seeds in fall or early spring in the front of the garden beds, or start indoors. Germinates easily.<\/p>\n<p>Attracts some beneficial insects and repels a couple of the bad ones. Calendula flowers are edible and taste great in salads.
