It bears whorls of tubular lavender flowers that bloom during the second year, and soft, velvety, sage-green leaves with white-edging that grows in a mounding, spreading habit. The young shoots and foliage are densely covered with white hairs.<\/p>\n<p>It is often found growing in open woods, thickets, and along roadsides. Great for dry gardens and desolate sites as it requires NO summer water. Well-drained soil ensures <em>Marrubinum supinums <\/em>long-term prosperity.
