The ‘White Hot’ Hibiscus variety has large 7\u20139 inch single flowers, which are characterized by their color changing ability, which changes depending on the temperature. In cooler temps, the flower color is mostly Bright red with yellow pixelated highlights around the outer edges of the petals, while during the warmer summer months the flower color changes to a vivid yellow with orange-red splashes of color, always maintaining an over-sized large white eye in the center of the flower! It is known for having\u00a0 an upright bush habit growing to 4-6 ft tall and wide. Extremely easy to grow and blooms prolifically. Highly recommended for collectors and tropical flower aficionados!<\/p>\n

Thrives in rich, moist soil with good drainage and full sun (6+ hours) for maximum blooming.       How to prepare cuttings to root via rooting cubes inside a humidity dome.<\/b><\/p>\n

      1. Upon arrival, give cuttings a new fresh cut on the bottom of the stem. Then set in a cup of water for a minimum of 15 minutes.<\/li>\n
      2. After soaking, gently cut or scrape small marks into the bottom portion of the plant stem (\u00bd inch) with scissors or a razor blade.<\/li>\n
      3. Dip the scarred end of the stem into rooting gel or rooting powder (gel is superior). This can be done without rooting gel, but results are not as good.<\/li>\n
      4. Insert the plant stem into a rooting cube (Oasis cubes, grow plugs, soil-cubes, rock-wool cubes, etc) and place into a nursery tray with a humidity dome over the top. One cutting per cube.\u00a0Custom individual humidity domes can be made using plastic cups and\/or plastic cling wrap.<\/li>\n

                        1. Upon arrival, give cuttings a new fresh cut on the bottom of the stem. Then set in a cup of water for a minimum of 15 minutes.<\/li>\n
                        2. After soaking, gently cut or scrape small marks into the bottom portion of the plant stem (\u00bd inch) with scissors or a razor blade.<\/li>\n
                        3. Dip the scarred end of the stem into rooting gel or rooting powder (gel is superior). This can be done without rooting gel, but results are not as good.<\/li>\n
                        4. Insert the plant stem into a rooting cube (Oasis cubes, grow plugs, soil-cubes, rock-wool cubes, etc) and place into a nursery tray with a humidity dome over the top.                           Tropical Hibiscus, also known as Hawaiian Hibiscus, Garden Hibiscus, Chinese Hibiscus, China Rose, Fencing Flower, Shoe Flower, and Shoeblack Plant, is a large tropical shrub in the Mallow family known for its bold, large, funnel-shaped flowers with showy centers.<\/p>\n

                          Tropical Hibiscus is considered to be part of the ‘Lilibiscus’ section of the genus which as of late has been making a comeback. Hibiscus rosa-sinensis<\/em> cultivars are the result of hybridization of ancient and modern Hibiscus varieties from a number of species\u2015 the majority being from the Mascarene Islands in the Indian Ocean and the Hawaiian Islands in the Pacific. This complex hybrid group was derived from most, if not all of the following species: Hibiscus genevii, Hibiscus kokio, Hibiscus liliiflorus, Hibiscus schizopetalus, Hibiscus arnottianus, Hibiscus fragilis, Hibiscus boryanus, Hibiscus denisonii, and Hibiscus storckii<\/em>. Given its genetic history, it is not surprising that Hibiscus rosa-sinensis<\/em> exhibits a wide array of traits and a dazzling variety of forms and flower colors.<\/p>\n

                                Aloe hybrid | <\/em>Aloe ‘Blizzard’<\/p>\n

                                Aloe ‘Blizzard’ is a light pigmented dwarf succulent that forms rosettes of upright, pale green leaves covered with white markings, giving it an almost white appearance. The rosettes can grow up to 8 inches tall and 6 inches across. The coral-orange bell-shaped flowers hang from a tall stalk and being polycarpic will flower multiple times, usually from late winter into spring.<\/p>\n

                                Aloes are pretty forgiving plants, but must never be allowed to sit in overly wet soil or stagnant water, so well-drained soil is required. Water moderately when soil is completely dry.<\/p>\n

                                Aloe hybrid | <\/em>Aloe ‘Christmas Carol’<\/p>\n

                                Aloe ‘Christmas Carol’ is a striking dwarf aloe hybrid celebrated for its festive coloring and intricate form. It grows as a tight star-shaped rosette of dark green leaves with vivid red margins and yellow to deep crimson bumps across the surfaces. The red coloring intensifies when grown in full sun. The rosette remains compact and packs intense visual detail, making this one of the most popular aloes for collectors and growers alike. The flowers, which bloom in fall and winter, are reddish-pink to orange and appear atop a long spike from fall to winter.<\/p>\n

                                Aloes are pretty forgiving plants, but must never be allowed to sit in overly wet soil or stagnant water, so well-drained soil is required. Water moderately when soil is completely dry. Often used as small-scale ground cover in rock gardens or in containers.<\/p>\n

                                Grows best is strong, bright light indoors. Outdoors they can withstand full summer sun once acclimated. Prefers warmer temperatures of 70 to 80\u00b0F, but will die if temps reach below 40 \u00b0F.<\/p>\n

                                Agave chrysantha | <\/em>Golden-flowered Agave<\/p>\n

                                Golden-flowered Agave, also commonly called Golden-flower Century Plant, is an endemic perennial subshrub native only to central and southern Arizona at 3,000 to 7,000 feet. It is very similar in appearance to Palmers Agave which it has been known to hybridize with (Agave palmeri). It is commonly seen in its natural habitat which includes rocky hillsides and sandy to gravelly soils in desert scrub, grasslands, and juniper and oak woodland landscapes.<\/p>\n

                                The species has sharp spines on the margins of long and stiff, glaucous-green leaves arranged in a rosette, but is known for and distinguished by its giant golden-yellow to orange flower spikes that tower to an astonishing 21 feet in height from June to August. Flowers only once before dying where it will then regrow from basal offsets.<\/p>\n

                                Golden-flowered Agave can survive with little or no summer water once established and must have excellent drainage, such as a gravelly or granite-based soil because w<\/span>et and cold soil can be more fatal to it than low temperatures alone. Since it grows at <\/span>higher elevations it’s accustomed to winter frosts.<\/span><\/p>\n

                                This species attracts insects including bees, as well as birds and bats.<\/p>\n
