Zephyranthes macrosiphon <\/i>| Pink Rain Lily ‘Hidalga’<\/p>\n
Pink Rain Lily, also commonly called Rosepink Zephyr Lily, Fairy Lily, Magic Lily, and Rainflower is a perennial bulbous flower species in the Amaryllidaceae family known for producing grass-like foliage and crocus-like flowers. True to their name, Rain Lilies burst into flower a couple days after a summer thunderstorm ends a period of dryer weather.<\/p>\n
The Pink Rain Lily ‘Hidalga’ variety is large-flowered with showy, soft pink, six petalled, starry flowers that are borne most any time of the year, even while leafless through winter.<\/p>\n
They are popular in borders, rock gardens, and containers, thriving in sun to partial shade and are not particular about soil conditions.<\/span>. In time, they form a strong patch of foliage, multiplying both by bulb offsets and by seeds (sometimes into the lawn).
