It was introduced to the market around 2010 and consists of two mostly unknown Butterfly Bushes- the orange-flowered dessert shrub <em>B. marrubiifolia<\/em> and the pale yellow-flowered<em> B. Cordata<\/em>. The leaves and flowers look like a perfect pairing from both parents with fuzzy cordata-shaped leaves and flowers that are pale yellow and globose.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Peter&#8217; does best when planted in full sun with well-draining soil. It does not like heavy soils or to be over-watered, especially when young, otherwise it&#8217;s an easy to grow and nice hardy plant down to zone 7. Drought tolerant once established.
