Description
Anthemis aciphylla | Aciphyllous Chamomile
Aciphyllous Chamomile, also known as Aciphylla Daisy, Golden Daisy, Golden Aciphylla, is an extremely rare Chamomile variety native to the dry grasslands and rocky slopes of Turkey. (These seeds were wild collected in Turkey, then imported to the United States.)
Anthemis aciphylla is a perennial herb with spreading, lacy foliage and daisy-type, white petaled flowers with yellow-button centers that sway in the breeze. Plants grow in all types of soil, including poor soils with low nutrients. But as with most plants, they benefit from some some good nutrients/fertilizer. Plants can withstand drought, but regular watering in hot dry weather will ensure rapid growth and abundant blooms. Low maintenance. There is very little info on this plant variety.
