Description
Lavatera trimestris | Rose Mallow ‘Loveliness’
An annual in the Hibiscus family, ‘Loveliness’ is a favorite among gardeners as she grows quickly and blooms heavily. Grows best when direct-sown outdoors (after last frost) as seeds do not transplant well. Does well in most soils with little care. The flowers will bloom for many weeks if the faded blooms are removed. Will set seed and some volunteers may reappear the following year.
Mallows attract butterflies, beneficial insects and hummingbirds.
