Plains Coreopsis, also known as Goldenwave and Golden Tickseed, is a slender, drought tolerant flower with bright yellow blooms with deep red centers from June to September. It grows naturally in open plains and glade areas, preferring full sun and well drained soil. After they are established they will not require any extra water. Plains Coreopsis will reseed in open, bare, sandy soil. Deadhead for more blooms. A very easy plant to grow.
